I found that widget thing on some website. It’s based on my AIM username, and whether I’m logged in or not. This way you can tell when I will respond to comments, and whether there will be a new post coming soon. There’s one for PanicButtonBlog’s AIM also right below contact in the left sidebar.

| Posted: 01 Jun 2009 02:12 PM PDT Where’s Waldo (also known as Wally) has been one of the most frequently asked questions in children’s societies, and pop culture in general. We’ve been searching for him for over twenty-two years now. We always know what the goal is in the books; to find this strange man. But have we ever really thought about the purpose, or the reason? Perhaps Waldo is an escaped convict (two counts of murder, three counts of robbery, one speeding ticket) running from the law. Maybe he’s some new type of life-form, from the planet JimBorg-squadron one, and the FBI is trying to catch him. Maybe Waldo is a child, who strayed to far from his parents, and has taken the body of an old man. Maybe he’s actually a pedophile, a child abductor, or maybe even a drug dealer (hiding cocaine in his cane). Perhaps he’s everywhere you look, but you just aren’t looking hard enough to actually spot him. Maybe he’s a famous actor, and we are the paparazzi, trying to get a single picture of him to roast in the next tabloid. Never in the books does it say why we are looking for this mysterious man, it just tells us to find him. Maybe you should ask yourself Who, or Why, next time you open up a Where is Waldo book.
