Obviously you guys don’t want it to play automatically, so it will be left as it is now. The new poll is… This poll will be on the left sidebar. Make sure to check out the post below this one for the Random Album Contest!Posted in Funny![]() |
| Posted: 19 Oct 2009 07:48 AM PDT This contest is one that Grant (Pablo) found somewhere in the depths of the internet. The Stakes:The point of this contest is to see who can put together the best music album cover out of absolutely nothing. You will retrieve the following information for your album cover.
These links go to random words and images. Here is an example that I made.
The artist name, Matalote Opata, was the title of the random Wikipedia article that the first link went to. “Expanding it” was the last 2 words of a different random Wikipedia article that the second link went to. The background image of a dinosaur was a random Flickr image that the third link went to. Rules:You may not create your own background image, although you may edit the random Flickr image however you like without distorting it. You may not add your own words. All entries are meant to be completely random. The more random, the better. Have fun! Prizes:The winner will be on our blogroll for two weeks and a post will be made with their name and a link to their blog/website. Second and third place will have their names and links in the same post. Everyone who enters will be given a chance to win. When you are finished with your album, and are ready to enter it, send it by using this button. This contest will end when we have around 10 entries. Here are some more examples I made.
It’s actually really fun to see how perfect certain words and pictures go together. Posted in Funny![]() |
| Posted: 18 Oct 2009 06:06 PM PDT I just got back from two soccer games back to back and suffered the biggest hamstring cramp in my life. I was about to make a post about shaving cream when I brought my leg back and, within seconds, I was on the ground yelling unexplainable gibberish and grabbing my leg in pain. My leg completely locked and I was struggling to flex it out. Finally I relaxed and it was gone. These are the kinds of things that should inspire posts; spur-of-the-moment occurences that leave you laughing or dying in pain. Leg cramps can act as a terrible thing and a great thing. The terrible thing is the pain, and the great thing is the great story you can tell people at parties. “Yeah so last weekend I was workin out, liftin two 100 pounders. All of a sudden my leg was like ‘BAM’ and I was on the ground shaking and trembling. Luckly I was manly enough to set aside the pain and do ten more sets while still on the ground screaming. [Insert cheesy lines from Napolean Dynamite].” One time at a Halloween party at my house Grant had a crazy leg cramp that left him sprawled out on the couch motionless. Good times, goood times…
Well, there’s no school tomorrow, lucky us! This four day weekend has been going by surprisingly fast, mostly due to my all-day nap on Friday. Haven’t had one of those in a while. Today’s blog of the day is… AnthonyHave you ever had a crazy vicious cramp? Posted in Funny![]() |
