Swine Flu PSA!

Everyone knows about the big Swine Flu outbreak going on right now, and I’d like to give everyone a public service announcement about it. In the United States, nearly 100 have been sickened in 11 states. Here are some little known facts

Swine flu cannot be spread by eating pork products as long as they’re well cooked. The heat of the cooking destroys any possible bacteria.
Egypt has already ordered the slaughtering of all pigs in the country. That’s about 350,000 pigs!
A very easy way of keeping yourself safe is simply washing your hands. The flu is mainly spread by one person touching something containing the bacteria, then touching their mouth, nose, or someone else.
If you’ve been touching or have been open to any pigs, make sure to wash your hands before doing anything else. Try to wash every time you’re in a restroom (hopefully we all already do).
Take time in washing your hands. To correctly wash, make sure to get the backs of the hands, under the nails, and in between the fingers. A proper hand wash should last 2 minutes, about the time it takes to sing the alphabet twice.
